Trip Planning Resources

General Resources

  • Need to find a pet sitter for Fluffy and Fido, but your usual kennel is booked or they have anxiety and can’t be boarded in a kennel? Rover.com may be able to help. Rover identifies local pet walkers, pet home sitters that may be a good alternative to a kennel.

  • When traveling abroad, consider using one of Nord VPN’s eSim data plans, regardless of where you go int he world. They have one eSIM for all your travels! Make sure you get the app so you can choose a plan that works best for you, while saving on roaming charges. You can also easily activate the eSIM plan through the app. I found this to be a cheaper option than going through my current mobile carrier.

  • When planning a trip, I always find myself asking “So how do I get from (insert a destination) to (insert another destination)? The answer to this, is Rome2Rio. Rome2Rio will give you options of how to get from one place to another, whether that be by train, plane, or car.

  • GetYourGuide is a great website that highlights things to do in any place. You can also reserve a ticket for an event through this website. They also have an app. For popular activities/attractions, I suggest you reserve tickets early, especially if you want to get right into the event, without standing in line to buy a ticket.
